Volunteer Professional Photographer - November 1, 2025
We are looking for a professional photographer for our Community Art Auction fundraiser!
Duties:
- Take professional photos at the event on November 1 and provide edited, hi-res copies for post-event promotion
- Misc photography as assigned

Volunteer Tutor, Language Arts & Math - September-November 2025
Join the Muindi Foundation’s LearnNow program as a volunteer tutor and help under-resourced elementary and junior high students (1st-8th grade) strengthen their skills in language arts and mathematics. Most of our students come from low-income backgrounds, and many are English language learners. Your presence and encouragement can help shift the trajectory of a child’s academic journey.
Duties:
- Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring
- Support students in reading comprehension, writing, and foundational math
- Create a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment
- Help students build confidence, develop strong study habits, and pursue their academic goals
When & Where:
- September 15 - November 13, 2025
- Days: Monday-Thursday
- Time: 3:00 PM - 5:15 PM
- Location: Muindi Foundation
Time Commitment:
We ask volunteers to commit to at least two afternoons per week (3:00-5:15 PM) for a minimum of 10 weeks. This strikes a great balance between volunteer availability and student consistency, which is vital for academic growth and building trust.
Qualifications:
- Passion for education, equity, and student success
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Must pass a background check
- University Students in good standing (GPA 3.0+)
- High school seniors (GPA 3.5+)
For High School Seniors:
- Verified community service hours provided
- Mentorship experience ideal for college applications
- Reference letters available upon successful completion of the program
