Come join the Muindi Foundation and pitch in to give back to our community by sponsoring, preparing and distributing, brown bag lunches, toiletry kits and fresh fruits to the poor in our community.

- One brown bag lunch costs $3.00 (one small latte)
- One toiletry kit costs $6.00 (one large latte)

Our mission is to bring people and resources together to meet the needs of the underserved in our community, specifically the homeless, houseless and those in risk of becoming so in the Silicon Valley.


What we do day of:
1. Just bring yourselves at 7:45 am Saturday morning
2. Assemble the lunches. (Address given to those attending the event)
3. Bring a donation for bag lunches (chips, snack size, granola bars, bottled waters, apple sauce or fruit in a cup (optional)

We will need your help to:
1. Make sandwiches together
2. Pack 50 lunches 50 snack packs and distribute 50 toiletry kits
3. Hand out toiletry care kits and brown bag lunches in SJ homeless camps

Schedule:
7:45 am - 8:00 am Register and receive instructions on assignments
8:00 am – 8:45 am - Prepare healthy brown bag lunches and snacks. We will also distribute toiletry care kits
8:45 am – 9:00 am Clean Up/pack Lunches in Vehicles
9:00 am – 9:15 am - Drive to homeless camps
9:15 am – 10:00 am - Distribute lunches and toiletry kits
10:00 am - 10:30 am - travel back to office, clean up and unpack supplies

What goes in the lunches?
1. A good ham or turkey sandwich (one you’d eat yourself/lots of meat)
2. A bag of chips
3. Fruit
4. Cookies
5. Bottle water

What they need you to donate
1. Water
2. Bananas or cuties
2. Healthy snacks
3. Masks
